I did not expect this split

    Lifted that side off the road then slamed back down sounded like a hand grenade went off.
    The bolts for the caliper bracket broke and the caliper slid down under the rim and cut it in half. Got stopped ok had to just sit in truck for awhile i was shaking so bad i couldn't move. I have had tires blow up before but not like that.

    Thankfully i was the only one in in the truck. I just dropped off my grandson about five miles before it happened

    It has been years since I had to mess with split rims, but always hated them scary things! But this.... You took split rims to a whole new level. :bug:

    Never seen that happen, almost like one of those two piece truck rims came apart. Glad to see your ok. Crazy stuff happens sonetimes.
