Its hard to depend on others but for a short time is better than the rest of time. Take it easy and keep on track to moving forward. Slow and steady and knowing when to quit is good! There is always tomorrow!

Glad you are healing Dennis! Take it slow, do whatcha can when you can, and don't over do it. You could probably train some of those deer to bring a few logs in for you if you withhold feed for a few days :)

So happy for you, Dennis! I bet it felt great to take a drive around the property.

Well, maybe I did a bit too much but I was careful and only lifted one piece at a time and then using my left arm. This morning I really have a catch in my right side, up high. Not sure if it is from yesterday or what but was pretty bad around 4:00 this morning. Has settled down some now though.

Small steps, help with loading the wood next time. Slow and steady so you don't set your recovery back!

Yup. It will be slow going for a while. I did really take my time with the loading yesterday and stopped short of unloading. My wife will make short work of that.
