    With some basic care/maintenance it will still last you (well, most of us :D) for a long time...there are many part time firewood sellers like you using those same box store (YTL made) splitters for many years.
    A "pro quality" splitter will still suffer from poor care/maintenance just the same...but once you get into the upper end stuff ($6-10k) you might be to the level that it would take some abuse a lil better...

    Splitter wouldnt start. buzz-saw diagnosed and fixed it. Engine shot. No compression.

    This "abuse" wasnt intentional. The oil wasnt changed enough and i would stop at full throttle many times during a splitting session when i would stop and stack. Unbeknown to me its not good to do that.

    Our records indicate this product has been warrantied and replaced on a previous claim. As such, the warranty no longer applies for this claim/product.
    We are happy to make a one time exception. Going forward, all items must include a receipt in the warranty process.

    I'm telling you buZZsaw BRAD Tommy Lift for the win. Heck, you can even come down and have my old one for free, if I ever get off my ash and get the new to me one painted and mounted. Still works great, just needs a welders touch. No round left behind.
