    It is 1/8" diamond plate. It is a different mindset working with metal for someone that is used to working with wood.

    I have wanted a Bug-o track torch for awhile but $$$ said NO! Me thinks this will work.

    Should be fine. Could always put a strip at the open end down so it won't flex or vibrate if need be.
    I did something similar on my splitter, though I welded it to the cylinder. I don't have a log "unsticker" though.

    I can't say I've seen a "grease here" note on a wedge/pusher before. I've never put any lube on there because I figured it would just get loaded with dirt and wood junk and make a "grinding paste".

    What is the throttle/choke type cable that seems to get triggered by the wedge for?
