Hey good to see the fire.

Things will be better when the smell leaves.

    Hello Save$

Congrats on your new stove! Welcome to the Harman club! I felt fortunate to get the opportunity to rebuild a P68. they hold their value so well I was lucky. I luv the Mirror glass so it looks nice in the summer! Remember to watch the Harman DVD and put the end of the room probe 5 feet above the floor for proper operation!

Did you get a scenic tile? You can even get a favorite photo turned into a tile for the ash door. I am waiting for someone so we can order them together and save!
Did you get the Nickel Trim kit? That makes it shine!

Post ur pics when you get a chance. I luve my 2 Harmys and my quad. Keep your Napoleon for the garage/workshop or shed for extra comfort if you can.
otherwise $1,000 to $1200 around here is what it is worth around here. Just depends upon your area.

Good luck and enjoy the LOW maintenance and much longer auger motor life!
    Your auger moter is a whopping 6 RPM ! ! !

P.S. I would rather duct my Harmy than switch!

The odor is clearing out. I have the stove set on 73 F. But my room is 77 F. The upstairs is above 70 F, outside 16 F. I just now turned off the bathroom exhaust fan. I put a magnetic stack thermometer on the stove's side and it went up to 600 F. I have no idea if this is accurate. I put it on the vent and it registered as cold. Not cold to touch. I have been watching this fire show for three hours like it was a movie! The thermostat gives a lot of changes to the flame.
With the other stove, this is the outside temp when the furnace would kick in. I'm smiling now!

Those temps are dangerously close to being to warm :) Anything over 72 is a bit much for me. Let us know how your pellet usage matches up with the Napoleon.

Verify your clearances around that stove. The shells get very warm and the clearances take that into consideration.

Save's a pellet hoarder. I'm sure he's got plenty to feed it. Last I knew he had 3 tons of Energex Ca green bags that NPS40 couldn't eat. And that Harmans should eat them easy. It better or he might be a bit ticked!

Glad you feeling warm save, How's the wife doing? She loose a few of those blankies yet? Don't think she'll need that space heater much either!! ;)

Oh yes, I'll do that, but know it should be more. I am projecting for at least another 20% and that may be conservative.
I want to hear what amount Sub uses.

I gave away the last of the Energex . I have MWP, three tons. Just finishing up the AWF I bought at HD. Now that I don't have a fussy burner I can try other brands.
As for the wife, she is sitting down here in the family room with me. 77 F

You might like to hear that your usage might not be more than what it was. These Harman's have a great heat exchanger. You were running the NP40 for all it was worth. The P68 will be running at a lot lower level. I have a smaller house than you with a smaller stove. I'm a few bags shy of 3 tons on the year, depending on the weather between now and the end of the year, I may go over 5 tons. 5 tons @ $188 doesn't buy a lot of oil.:)

    Congratulations Larry!

I have a feeling your house will be a little warmer, and your oil bill a little cheaper :)

Love a bottom feed fire! They just look so much better!

Highest I've seen on mine is 550. Was that with AWF's?

I had 595 when in stove temp 5 , distribution blower set on high and feed rate at about 4. This was measured with an ir gun. And was before I got the site great shields. These P series stoves do throw a fair bit of radiant heat...
