    Looks like that took a while...Pitch black to broad daylight and only half split!! LOL

    Had to take a second look, thought that was marijuana growing behind the splitter!

    Just goes to show having the equipment for the task is a good thing!!

    Oh no, started on those 2 rounds about 9:30pm or so, had it stacked by 10:45.

    No telling what's growing down here in the swamp...lol...
    That's panda bear food...bamboo...its a PITA...

    Some people just get better "beer mileage" than others...me, I run fine on one per year, or less. ;) :D

    Well this haul worked out to around 8.5 cord. I saved the Estate Reserve Picker’s Choice wood for the home fire winter 2021. Nice 18-22” fat splits of mostly heartwood fir. And thanks Jeff for confirming the fan. From that spot, there is air moving through the entire shed!

    Just got caught up with this thread. That Doug fir looks great! Doug fir is mostly what I burn here. Burns great. My dad always calls it the “hardwood of soft woods” :tree:

    Some of the pellet burners seem to like the doug fir pellets an awful lot too.
