FYI I do a lot of resawing. For anything wider than ~3" I use this: for bigger stuff....6-10" couldn't do without it. I needed to make some little stops for a jig I'm working on. The plans show these little stop blocks being cut on a table saw. Requires 4 fence/blade setups. I cut these out on the bandsaw in about 10 min. It is such a great tool.
Kinda look brown. It would be interesting to see what colour they show when they are in the sunlight.
Brown is very popular now. Dale, what kind/size of wood did you use for the Adirondack chairs? How do you round all the edges?
I used all treated wood. 5/4 decking for the back legs and a few other parts, 1” ground contact treated for the rest. I want them to last. I can send you templates if you want them.
Just say the word and I will send them to you, no problem! If you use different plans make sure they have a curved back.
I just started advertising them on CL. Right now I’m making a bunch for friends and relatives, some practice runs. I am also making jigs so I can assemble them quicker.
