It has hauled grain most of its life, Dad just gave it to me a couple years ago. It has hauled a lot of brush & probably 15-20 cord. Dad was trying to sell it & no one wanted it. Brakes work sporadically, floor boards are rusted out, carb needs tuned, turn signals come on with every bump, drivers side vent window has fallen out, mice have pretty removed most of the cushioning in the seat & no mufflers BUT it has new tires, tranny is good, the lift works, heater works and wait for it… the old AM tune box still works

If you stack it full you can get around 3 cord in it, I hauled 3 cord of Hedge & Honey Locust a couple years ago & it had no problems dumping it.

That looks like the old F600 I took a wild ride in back in high school (except the cab was green)...belonged to the neighbor farmer I was working for, loaded up a round bale to take to the heifers at another farm, pulled out without actually checking the brakes (uphill the whole way, and you could easily see if anybody was coming down the road well before you got to it) so pulled right out and took off. Went the 2-3 miles that it takes to almost get to the next intersection (T road) and hit the brake pedal...it went straight to the floor! Crap, its downhill the whole way to the intersection! I tried to downshift, but could not get into 3rd, and was going way too fast to even have a shot at 2nd gear! (352 V8/4 spd)...make a quick decision to floor it in 4th and try to jump the oncoming ditch since nobody was coming down the crossroad...made it across the ditch (with a big bump of the head against the roof!) and managed to avoid the telephone pole, but promptly got stuck in the wet hayfield we landed in...called the boss for a tow...boy was he mad! Turns out the farm foreman knew the brakes were out on it and forgot to tell anybody about it! :hair:

Sounds about like the overall condition of the one I was using plus no lights so I was pushing to get done before dark. Didn’t really make it, but was only 4 blocks to return it. I’m kinda used to running old worn out equipment and knew this was in that category but still wasn’t prepared

My first vehicle was a 71 Chevy pickup 3 speed on the column. Drove it for a year with no 1st or reverse LOL. Teaches a kid how to plan his trips and think about what they’re doing. Everyone should drive one of those as a trainer.
