Heal up fast buZZsaw BRAD . That will surely leave a mark.I suppose the plastic surgeon won't even leave a scar for you to have some bragging rights
Well, at least no one can rightly accuse you of being "all thumbs" any more. Getting "pinched" never cost so much, huh? Heal well, my friend!
That sucks, sorry to hear it. Things can take a turn for the worse really quick, and of course always when you least expect it. A couple seasons ago, I nearly got my thumb caught between the splitter and the wood, fortunately I was quick enough to be able to back off on the lever. It was sore for a few days, could've been much worse. Hang in there!
Ill have an hour to live and still probably have the same attitude. Probably will be pizzed that i missed a BL score along the way.
my back was hurting worse in the ER and sleeping last night. Very mind full to keep it elevated. The local from todays "surgery" still working, although my left index finger is numb too.
im sure it is!!! I was one handed stacking, pushing two wheeler (one handed) half full of splits and even one handed split with X25 some BL nuggets.
My son had a shirt that said it's all fun and games till someone gets hurt, then it's hilarious. Sorry Brad
No skin graft needed but he did have to slice and sew. Very cool doctor with SOH and personality. The scar will be added to the others on my hands. Fourth time for stitches and all on my hands. Although Ms. buZZsaw did try to sew my lips shut!
I broke my right wrist when i was 13 and have bad memories of that problem. One time in life i tried to be ambidextrous...tried that is!
Geez dude take care of yourself. Sorry to hear it. Crap does happen. You may begin to appreciate the push button hoarding strategy more now
We've both got rounds to split and between us we have a good pair of hands. We'll sledge and wedge. You hold the wedge with your good hand and ill one arm swing the sledge with mine. No worries Mike...i have good aim...most of the time!
UPDATE: called plastic surgeon (hospitals words) this morning and had me come right in. Turns out to be an orthapedist. Few shots of anesthetic, a few slices and stitches and i was good to go. Have a return trip the 29th. Better pic of the guilty split.
