So I’ve wanted a nice splitter and after doing research decided the Eastonmade Ultra was the one. Made in Canada. Buy once, cry once. First picture is picking it up at the Eastonmade HQ. Second is when I had it parked in the city and split some gnarly ash logs. Third is at the farm. My buddy doing a test run on some cherry. I’m gonna start selling some wood this fall or next year. My aim is just to repay the splitter and get another chainsaw or two!!
I have looked at those several times & damm near ordered one but I keep thinking I want a log lift also. That little option adds a good chunk of change. Those are supposed to be good ones, congratulations on your purchase & keep us updated on how you like it.
will keep you posted. Of course, log lift and adjustable wedge would be great. But the ones with those features are double the cost. Couldn’t justify based on my plans (or bases on my wife’s tolerance levels). Maybe down the road!

Congrats! I almost pulled the trigger on one before eventually deciding on the super split. I agree log lift would be nice but you can always “split” the big rounds down to a manageable with a chainsaw.
Dont know much about splitters but that is a real nice looking unit. Best of luck with it and the firewood business. EDIT: curiousity got the best of me and i just looked up the price! Youre gonna have to sell a lot of wood! Congrats!
I didn’t say it would be a quick repayment. And I didn’t account for my son’s split. He’s on stacking duty. so yeah, it’ll be a while
