    OK. So I wanted a battery powered saw. Looking at Milwaukee, but kind of chinsey for the price. I came across the husky 540 top handle. It weren't cheap, but so far it looks and acts like a bad azz saw.

    I'll keep you updated on progress. Right now the skeeters are terrible.

    OK. This is what I cut on a single battery...almost a full mule load of 10" elm and some half punky pin oak. I'm happy with that. I can cut wood in almost silence.
    Seeing how long a charge takes now.

    About 40 min to charge the battery. So that means I can get a full load on a battery and a half or so, come home, charge while I unload, then back at it.
    By then, my neighbor'll be back there so I might as well use the noisy ones then.

    That’s a pretty good amount. I’d be tickled. As much as I love my ported saws, the very high sound levels are not desired. Must be really different to cut in relative silence.
