I have only ever run .325 on both my prior 351/346xp and the NE 346xp and now the 2252. I can't see the cost justification when this works and is a joy to run.

    I started out with 18" X .325 on my 346XP NE but soon changed to 16" X 3/8" and a 357 clutch bell.

    When I bought the 545 and 550 I started out with 16" X 3/8".

However, I did do some timed cuts with .325 LGX on the 550XP and it was just not as fast as 3/8" Stihl RS.
