Luckily I was able to fix it and luckily it's not a production saw that needs to be fixed asap. But I certainly learned my lesson and learned it quickly.

I ordered all the parts that I could justify to start:

    Assembly tool kit
    Flywheel puller
    8 fuel filters for 372xp
    2 fuel lines for 372xp
    Carb rebuild kit for 545
    Muffler gasket for 545
    Rim sprocket for 545
    Deflection limiter for 545
    6 BPMR7A spark plugs for 372xp
    Muffler gasket for 372xp

Since I have the universal case splitter I'll hold off on getting the Husky one....although the Husky one can be used to push the crankshaft out of the flywheel side as well.

I checked the leaking 372xp and there was fresh oil again right under the muffler area at the case gasket. Will have to wait until I get the flywheel puller to see if the case bolts are loose.

The husky flywheel removal tool worked great. That sucker was on there super tight and popped pretty damm loud when it came off.

The case is definitely leaking at the case gasket and while I was able to turn the case screws a little it didn't help stop the leak. It will need a new gasket and some rtv. Setting this saw aside to see if I can get others working faster.

Going to rebuild the 545 carb maybe today and see how she runs after.

I also broke the brand new muffler gasket on the 372xp when the muffler just slipped right out of my hand. Learned two lessons there - wipe oil off the muffler and buy extra gaskets I dread of just 1. With all these 372xps I ordered 8 gaskets after I broke this one.
