My old Stihl bg 65... I think !...... Handheld just started spewing gas all over. Been looking at new ones... Echo makes a very nice little handheld for like $ 169. No carb adjustments tho :(. I only use one maybe 5 minutes every other week... So no need for a backpack blower here. Just to get an argument going maybe... My brother is a landscraper. They bought Stihl backback blowers awhile back and were upset at how much maint. I had to constantly do on them to keep them going. So they bought the Husqvarna equiv.... Lets just say ive yet to even see them in the last 2 years... And the side by side comparison is rediculous. The Husky ( blows ) them away ! Its a true side by side comparison. All tuned properly... Same age... Same gas. Same size machines. They actually just got rid of the boat anchor Stihls !

Fix the Bg65. They were a tough unit to beat.

What model were those backpack blowers?

So i keep a little of both around :) I dont remember what backpack model they were... or what the new Huskys are. Ill see if i can figure it out :)

The newer blowers have nothing over that BG65. BG65 and BG85 (without the fricking carb issues! damm you Zama......) are my favorite handheld blowers. And I own a newish SH86. (Same as a BG86).

It's great once it warms up but it is pretty cold-blooded being a Strato engine and all. I'm going to be upgrading it to the HD2 air filter setup too. Gets a fair bit of dust in it when using it as a shredder vac.

I think I made a good choice with the 150BT
Did some research , some say it has a Kawasaki motor , some say It's a china made motor so IDK about that

I have the 145 BT and it is a good unit. I have had it 8 ish years. It doesn't get used much. Got an overhaul last year. fuel line, filter, new carb, and such.
