Well that's what I was thinking you should heat a little as you go around.
I'll get around to it and do it.
Probably be best to fire up the acetylene as long as I'm careful and don't melt it

Just 6400-7900 mufflers used. But the cats not that big of deal to take out. Don't waste your money because no matter what muffler you get you want to split it and gut the cat out or the baffle out. :)

It's really not that complicated to split the mufflers. I've got a couple here I need to split. When I get a chance to split them, I will post up a thread about it.

Haha. There probably thousands of people who know who mastermind is...like tens of thousands.

But someone will know who that guy is.

I watched that video also and learned something from it, don't know who that guy is but, when I take something apart like that I don't throw all the nuts bolts and parts in one pile.
Maybe he has enough experience to put everything back in the right place

Many guys that take stuff apart or do it all the time put it all in one pile. I use to be more mythodicle about how I took stuff apart taking care to place parts and even arrange the pieces a certain way. The more I do things the less I do that. If it's something for the first time and it has stuff that could go on different I try to lay it out.

I forgot where an O ring went when I was rebuilding my tractor hydro valve. I took that thing apart at least a half a dozen times till I figured out the problem. I had the o ring in the wrong groove and it was bypassing fluid. Had I just paid closer attention I wouldn't have had that issue.

When I was watching that video I noticed the guy put the starter cover back on and did not put the Shroud around the Flywheel, I knew he screwed up but 10 minutes later he saw the part laying there took the starter cover back off and put that on

I'm guilty. If it's a newer saw I haven't did a lot of I separate out and take pics. A 7900,460,372xp common saws for me. Yeep all parts are throwed in 1 box and I roll with it. Lol

Carl I'm the same way. If it's something new I'm snapping pics at different stages of disassembly in case I can't remember how stuff goes back together.

I had to refer back to the pictures to get the throttle linkage back on right when I took my 55 apart

I've run it but nothing in the wood pile just yet. I've been overwhelmed with a project at home that's time sensitive so the new to me saw has sat for the most part

That's ok the most important thing is that you have it secured at home in your possession.

But don't wait to long to run it. You have that warrenty if anything were going to happen in the first few hours you want to make sure you run it under that warrenty.
