So I read through the other thread about adding humidity. I have a kettle going on our stove but its not enough. This has lead me to start looking for a humidifier to add to our place. We are currently hovering around 20%. That being said the other thread people mentioned some sizes but the only specific model that came up someone ended up returning. So what do you have, a link would be ideal, at the very least a model number so I can try and find it. Thanks!

I got this one last year. Works well and is quiet. http://www.essickair.com/products/humidifiers/category/whole-house/ep9-500/
Disconnected the dryer and run it into the work shop. Humidity 30 yo 40%. Once it goes past 50%, I'll reconnect it. I have no dryer odor. No mold, no moisture build up on the windows. When you run your dryer vented outside, you are creating negative air pressure sucking your precious heated air out the house and sucking cold air in through the cracks. Many pros and cons to this methods. Use with caution, watch for mold or moisture build up.
Interesting thought. My dryer actually currently vents into the garage, its in a room just off where my woodstove is, I might have to give this a go.
