Not too bad. Scotty is going to bring me the correct cylinder shield rubbers to the gtg. I've been wedging various stuff in there to keep the top from rattling.
It looks pretty good considering it's age. It was my grandpas p61 western that he left me that got me started in all this saw madness. I love and cherish that saw. It has never been apart and is still a very good runner.
This 610 sat for better than 50 years. I rebuilt the carb and a fresh plug is all it took. Well, a few cuss words on the first few tries to lite it off. It was a real bugger to get primed till I learned it's ways. Very awesome to know my Dad and Granddad (i never knew) are the ones to put all the wear on it. He bought it new in '59. Hey Cole. Only got to cut one cookie with that 42 you sold me. Just sent the chain to Dall for a nice fresh edge.
It's very cool to have the saw that has family history. My grandpa bought the p61 western brand new as well in 1978. It cut wood that kept me warm as a baby. My grandpa had the p61 and my dad had a Pioneer farmsaw.
