Mornin Dallas, mostly good I am sore from yesterday’s hunt. Boondocking a snow machine a tick over 47 miles. We don’t have deep snow to glide over everything it’s a cat fight.

How’s thinking you neck o the woods?

That machine is fuel injected, 600 ace. However I put a splash of heet in each tank. My Skandic is 550 fan carb, it needs the heet with it it runs like a FI. Without it will sputter for a good 5 minuets until it has melted the ice out of the carb.

HAHA sorry, I have seen the snow covers but don’t own any. I also splash red bottle heet in my saw gas. When it’s covered in snow it brushes off easy. Snow static clings to a cold saw but ices up if it comes from inside.

When it gets to the -40 or colder they start acting up. I don’t know if it’s the dense air at that temp causing the tune to be off. I should get a snow cover and see if fit changes how it runs. They seem that it takes about 3-5 minuets to warm up and run somewhat well.
