Good. It's a mess out here. Rain and mud. Nothin like what we've seen in your state though. Wow.

Mornin' Dall. You're right. Maybe I should sell some more wood.

    How's everyone?

Indeed. I have had quite a bit of guidance in all things saw. Great group of guys. I have learned more in 3 months here than 3 decades on my own. I have not had to do much filing of the square chain, it is so durable in my clean softwood. I have been in line for the vise so I can take back up practicing, and now have a 100 foot roll. Good times.

I imagine your learning curve was much easier having a sq ground chain to follow. The conversion from round is just plain hard on files.

I will let you know. They only chain I have filed is the round that I converted.

I am excited to get be able to file the square so I can learn the angles better. My coaches have prepped me well.

You, Mark and Kevin have helped me with filing the most, and Mike and a few others have also help me from going astray. Dallas said buy a 451A.

I appreciate everyone's help. And yes I have been looking at Madsens.

Here's a cheaper option. I'm guessing if you shop around you could find a better deal on it. Shipping seems kinda high.

Look at this on eBay CHAINSAW SAW VISE SAFER, SECURE, FAST, EASY BOLT DOWN OR USE IN VISE | eBay

I've had that saved in my ebay watch list for over 6 month's now! Maybe I should try it out.
I was telling myself if I did buy I'd support MM, his small one is $75 shipped.
