Started working alone in the woods in Maine when I was 12 . Fallin, limb and buck and rickin fir pulp. 4' wood . in 82 I went back in the brush after I got out of the service. Definately did most of my career up here on the coast. Mostly Southeast.
Good load Tom; especially considering you put in a full shift at work first. ! Until I started loading my truck with my loader. I was always loading my truck by headlamp it seemed. Or at least putting the last sled load on after dark. It makes it tricky bucking in the cold , 40 below. With the ice fog coming off the bar and chain it was tough seeing the kerf.
Only about 3-4 degrees this evening. Have a good one Mark. I’m turning in for the day. Only got the temp to 71. Betting the oil will run some.
