mine on the 036 is screwed and double sided tape i shortened my lead to about 8 or 10 inches so not much slop i would like to get more of those tachs but they are kinda expensive yes ive been waiting all day kevin got to custers about 830 and said the bon fire was lit and it was 18 degrees this morning
I saw the screws, looked like it was permanently mounted. I want to swap between saws. I think 2-sided will work.
Homelite got back to me, going to mailing a check out, when I get his addy. Hopefully that will help my filing.
i have a dti wireless tach also and they are a good company to deal with mine messed up and i sent it back and they sent me a new one and it also reads the mtronic saws
I hear ya. looking for square grinder. I read somewhere where they were using a stihl round grinder and getting surprisingly close to square. Top plate was really close but the side was slightly round. Amazing what the interweb finds.
theres a few on ebay right now a old simington 450 like my old one and a couple silveys but high price
You'll need a tech that can read the 2 pulse flywheel. There's really no need for a tach on a mtronic saw though.
There's an attachment for the usg for grinding square. There rare. Dont know how good of job it does.
