No saw fun today a friend rented a welder/genny for a week and is letting me use it for the weekend. So I'm welding caps & braces. Got this one a little low.

A Lincoln & 6011. Something is fishy about it but it's good enough for this.

It's like the output changes. Be running a bead just fine & then it goes to blowing holes. Turn it down & it's not hot enough.

Could be. If I was doing something that really mattered I wouldn't use it.

Dallas, do you permanently mount the tachs on your saws? Was thinking about using 2 sided tape to keep it on the one I was using. Want to cut the wires shorter, that bundle it to long. Looking to cut down to 6-8 inches.
