Hey guys, please take a second and hear me out....... All the drama from elsewhere, all the bickering and pizzing matches, all the hard feelings, etc.....please leave them at the door and don't get the Hornets nest all riled up here. I'm asking nicely, I love all you guys and the chainsaw lifestyle we so much enjoy, but all that bickering ends up costing me and the other admins/mods lots of valuable time editing and deleting (and sometimes banning), and believe me when I say we don't like doing any of that stuff...... If you're confused as to what the rules are on the forums here, there's a description of them on the main page.....take a second and read that if need be...... Looking forward to seeing whoever is gonna be at Kris's place on October 21st!! And that delicious chicken!!
Doin ok. You? I started tearing down my one bike last night and ran into a few snags. The screws that attach the gas tank cover have nuts that are held by the plastic gas tank. One screw was already broke off and a couple of the nuts spun on me. Guess I'll let the dealer mess with it. A common issue that he warned me about. A little stressful because of expense involved. I tried removing this stuff to save myself some of the labor. Oh well.
I'm doing great, just getting the day started. That sucks about the bike, hopefully it don't cost ya to much. What kind of bike is it?
The shop owner warned me about those nuts and said they have an efficient way of dealing with them. I've been saving a little each check to just be able to afford the cam belt change and valve service. Just hoping it doesn't go much farther. I'm not the typical type of owner (not rich).
It's kind of like the Ferrari of bikes. It just sucks that it's so expensive to work on. Did you buy it brand new?
Hey Cole. Another awesome day here in Pa. How's the weather there? Still no fire for me. I need to carry some wood first.
