Good plan on staying safe using the come-along to pull logs out of the ditch, if you even need to anchor to a yard tree they make straps to go around trees to prevent chain damage. As to the second saw I like my Stihl 170, 180, 290, and 660 combo. The 170 gets 90% of the use around the house. Best option is go visit your local saw shops and see who you treats you better. Most folks find a 50’ish cc limbing saw and 70’ish cc felling saw combo work great together.
