    No typo. We like it cooler. We were also working on the house so we were in and out with the doors and windows open alot.

    WE are ok. We are in a fairly safe region. Did have a lightning strike a coupla years back and the fire got to with 100 yards of one of our chook sheds. Took 10 trucks to stop it, no choppers though.
    The choppers come out from the US, Erikkson Skycranes. Real loud so you know when they are around. One is stationed in our city they call him Elvis.
    THese fires are only on the coast and mainly holiday houses of people who live in Melbourne. THe really bad fires we had were in 2009, 170 people died and 1 million acres burnt. This is nothing like that fortunately.

    We got down to -18 last night and had about a foot of fresh snow Christmas night. However, my basement is 80 and upstairs is 75. Too hot for me but I'm not in control of the thermostat....

    Looked at some pics from Switzerland and they've got no snow.

    Our weather is nuts, hot then cold then super hot.

    Weird stuff.
