I also just remembered that whole wall has a thick “skim” coat of spackle to try and make the wall more even because we knew we weren’t going to use it for anything. So there technically isn’t any exposed Sheetrock paper exposed. But the wall sometimes gets a little warm but never hot

technically, "clearance" is the measure to the closest combustible, regardless of whats in between, as far as pellet stoves are concerned.

Ok guys, another problem arose. The stove ran out of pellets last night. Woke up this morning and it was 57 in my House. Loaded it up with some blazers and it wouldn’t ignite. I had to use gel and a map gas torch again. I mean it’s a new igniter it should light quick. After like 5 min from when it started to feed the pellets it still wasn’t fired up. The burn pot feels pretty warm but I have never had this much of a problem before. The door seals are good everything is sealed. I just don’t get it. Any ideas?

Did it "time-out" because it took too long to get pellets into the burn area? Feed system is feeding pellets correctly?

It didn’t time out but the pellets would have overflowed and from what I can see it’s feeding correctly

hmmm......did you put the cover on the igniter cradle in the burn pot correctly? There is a right way and a wrong way.....Im told that those folks who put it on incorrectly have delayed ignition times, or it wont ignite at all........

I put it in the way the stock one was set up. I just cleaned the stove, cleaned the holes and that’s my flame. Something is up

I also noticed right underneath the burn pot just above the cover for the combustion fan the stove is buldged out a little like it’s warped. Idk if maybe that’s throwing off the burn pot?

I had to manually light it again and it’s almost like the hot pellets aren’t lighting at the bottom and are getting up near the edge and then burning. I noticed the center doesn’t burn so well

IDK about the center not burning as well. Ive seen my P68 do that recently and look like your flame especially whith a low/medium size flame. When running full bore its fine. I havnt thought twice about that.

Now the bulge under the burn pot. That doesnt sound right.

I wonder if the rear of the stove is somehow warped? If so, put a second burnpot gasket on that thing, should kill any errant leaks you might have.
