Yes. The straight axle rear suspension is very rough riding!

 

Those are tough units but they are kinda tractor like...including the ride/handling

(I understand this may be a budget/limited use machine so maybe the OP can upgrade to full size later.)

 

Had the Suzuki 1 week new back in 2010 and it wouldn't start? checked the wiring under the seat and found mice had chewed the wires already.
Put in about a dozen mothballs figuring that would be the ticket. Nope they ended up building a nest right on top of them. Got a pic that I'll try and find.

Ended up using this stuff and the mice haven't been a problem since.

 

You spray it on 'em? Like a lil mousy skin lotion?

 

i have a quad and keep it at home, i only take it up the farm when i take the gran kids for rides in the trailer.and to cut wood and carry it from the pond to the wood pile. like said people love to steal them.they pinch them like hot cakes.iv had mine 14 years now,and keep it locked in the shed.with big locks on it.and when not in use take the battery off.
