When I clean out ash from my fireplace I hate to lose those coals. When the ash has completely cooled down it is easy to retrieve them. However, this is obviously a problem when they are only partially cooled. Is there a some type of sifter on amazon I can buy to save my coals and just empty out the ash? Thanks for any assistance!

Or you can take a standard ash shovel and just cut some slots in it with an angle grinder n cutoff wheel...

I use a paint roller screen for a five gallon bucket. Just lay it over the top of your ash tub and dump the ashes over it. Works very fast for a couple bucks. I do this for 8 months straight
