    I had to go out in the back yard and pick up some Doug Fir cones and look,(I got four Doug Firs 2 of them well over 100' / prolly more like 125') sure enough they all had the tongue sticking out. Never really noticed that before. Good info to know

    thanks for the reply, i think my dealer would have just swaped it but strongly advised me not to ( its a good place im always treated well and get great deals and advise and have no complaints ) i think ill just leave well enough alone and enjoy the saw, maybe its just a conspiracy so the dealers can get another 40.00 for an other 2 in 1 filing guide. by the way , i did get yellow chain stihl # 3639 005 0067 26 rs 67 rapid super so you may want to get one of those , good luck with with yours.

    I think if ya changed over to 3/8 that would be voiding the warranty as well. I will look into the chain
