How to get in trouble on Thanksgiving

Apple Pie was on the counter this AM
no one was around.
I assumed it was OK to have a piece for breakfast
OOPS
Now I'm in the dog house, but man was it worth it.
Best breakfast of the year

Pumpkin pie is now guarded :

 

Did you atleast heat it up and have ice cream with it? If so all should be forgiven.

 

Well, when it come to trouble, go whole hog. LOL

Not planning to eat until 3:30
I figured it has to last a while.

Now I don't get apple pie for dessert
Guess I'll have to have pumpkin

 

Better to ask for forgiveness as opposed to permission. Quite a breakfast treat for sure............

I got "the eye" this morning when i stole some cubed cheese from a tray the mrs had on the counter. Hey, if it ain't covered or in the fridge it's free game

 

Had a similar situation at my house. I was getting the bird and all the other fix'ins ready. The boys, twin 11 year olds, said they were hungry. Told them to get something light since we were going to have an early and big dinner. The result...



Homemade apple & pumpkin. I have to admit that once the genie was out of the bottle I joined them and had a piece of pumpkin pie. The main difference here is that my wife and daughter are away for the weekend so the rules are a little relaxed. Nobody got in trouble and the guys that joined us for dinner were not upset that the pies were already cut...

Got in a bit of trouble myself today. Spent the day in the shop working my tail off since the kids are visiting their grandmother and I don't have to play mister mom. All will be forgiven when I hand her the check to deposit, or um I mean cash, and do some shopping.

The is a pie on my counter right now. I also know what would happen it I got a slice. Not sure I want to loose half my stuff.

 

Dave, according to a computerized analysis of your photo of the pie you stole a "piece" of, you actually took 0.249562314% of the pie. A "piece" of pie is suppose to be 0.125000000% of the pie. So you are in trouble for taking almost "two pieces" of the pie. Nice work.

My bad behavior in the past has gotten me a "do not touch" note inside the pie box....

 

One time I came home and had a light dinner, wasn't real hungry for what was around. And then proceeded to eat half a batch of fresh made cookies. There must have been 20 of them there. What? They were soft chocolate chip! My wife was NOT happy. Turns out they were for her class the next day. She had to make another batch.

 

Just gotta' say Dave, if that had been one of my from scratch apple pies, there wouldn't be any left after having "a piece".
Yeah, they're that gooder.
I made 4 punkin pies for the big Turkey Day GTG, and didn't eat a single slice of any of 'em. They all got left there.
I must be slippin'.

 

I got this figured out after looking at this picture of a pie several times......that's a perfect 1/4 of the pie. Bogy thought he was splitting birch rounds still. Did you cut that vertical or horizontal ?
