My son and I picked up some alligator meat at the local game store. the lady there said most people deep fry it but that we could also grill it. We try not to eat fried food so I was going to marinate and grill it but does anyone else know a good way to prepare and cook it?
I like to cook it in this (with coconut milk as per the instructions on the can) low heat for an hour or so until tender, add some vegetables and serve over rice : Massaman Curry Paste, Maesri :: ImportFood.

I’ve only had alligator once. I believe it was a tail roast but not sure. In any case it was plenty good and I wouldn’t pass it up if offered some again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
