I was calculating the stack I had already WAG 1.33 You have to come close without going over right ? In which case someone who guessed under 1.26 guess it depends on what house rules are I'll take the 100 points though, I'll stack them alongside my cords of oak
Yeah, missed that one. He guessed on that one, then calculated on the other post. I gotta' quit skimmin' threads.
It's harder on my back to stay bent over doing it that way. I noodle the big rounds down anyway to handle them to put in the truck. Don't have a pickeroon, threatened to buy one a bunch of times though. I figured it was about a cord without stacking it. but I never measure it. There's three rows there that size so far. probably have another two rows to split.
Yeah it was nice today for the first time in a while, think it got to56. I cut all that stuff when it was in the twenties.
A pickaroon is quite handy. You will be kicking yourself in the butt for going so long without one the day you finally do get one.
The wood pile is finished, cleaned up the mess and put everything away. run the gas out of splitter and wiped it down and put up. Ready for the next time. Ended up with five full rows. came out perfect.
5 year supply ? that's bare ground envy talking, in the middle of a 12-18" snowstorm here and I really wanted to be cutting firewood this weekend.
Maybe two years worth. our stove stays going from early October to end of Feb. My wife is cold natured and she likes the heat.
I feel for you guys getting all that snow, I know most of you are tired of it. It's supposed to be in the 70's here next week. was 25 this morning. were having some crazy weather everywhere this year.
