How much should a full log truck cost?

    I received a log truck load of firewood Tuesday morning paid $700.00, Nice looking mixed load Rock Oak, Red Oak, White Oak, Maple. Hickory, and Black Locust.
    Been busy with life so haven't taken pictures yet. Will try to get some tomorrow.

    Yo you folks are processing that much wood in Georgia ! You look like your burning in New England or somewhere really cold.What kind of winters do you get in Georgia ?

    That's been awhile back. We have hauled more since. It gets cold to us...lol...we burn some, my 92 yr old mom burns more than we do, we sell some and give some away. I do hoard to much, got logs that have gone bad, didn't have time to process them.

    That's true. A lot of the houses don't have enough insulation.

    Ok I see your point.I was in Atlanta one summer several years ago visiting my sister.All I remember was the heat and that red dirt that sticks to your shoes when it rains.I had no idea it gets cold enough to burn wood.That house insulation also helps keep the house cooler in the summer as well as warmer in the winter.Keep on splitting !
