The Jetstream boiler was one of the first boiler to use heat storage. The pdf gives the concept of the boilers operation combined with storage. Storage is 1258 US gallons of water maintained between 120 -195 F in the summer and 150-195 F in the winter. The storage tank is a 5/8"riveted plate steel boiler with its flame tubes removed. The refractory base of the Jetstream, with the gasket being applied before the heat exchanger is set in place.
