    I'm constantly ID'ing smoke like this! There's only a couple of smoke smells I don't like but even those I enjoy a bit!

    I can identify the easy ones by smoke smell, like Cherry, Pine, Cedar, Walnut and Hickory. Oak, Ash, and Elm are harder for me to distinguish. These are our most common type that we burn.

    I can always tell when people ate burning alder or Doug fir.
