Um, why? Not like you're going to have a mobile thru-hole. You probably have a good reason, I'm just not imaginative enough to figure it out.

Hmm, very interesting, never thought of doing a mobile one. Is it so you can cart it outside to clean easier?

Congrats Eric and welcome aboard the pellet train. That stove has a pretty small hopper, 25 lbs. - just want to make sure you go into this knowing you are going to have to feed it very frequently. My stoves would not last an overnight burn on that amount of fuel, especially if the pellets bridge in the hopper. Is there a hopper extension available for this unit?

Perhaps, but mainly to free up room in the LR in the off season. :D

    Thanks TTB:handshake:
This is more supplemental/ quick heat up... our home is small, on the order of 900 sq ft. The wood stove lives in the basement, another 800 sq. ft., but we don't spend much time down there unless tending the stove.
Don't think I've seen any sort of hoppah extension.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. The old US Stove had no t-stat and a crappy heat exchanger . I would set the heat rate according to outside temps and if we were home or not. It was a multi feuler with a agitator in the burn pot so I could burn any kind of pellet, but the higher BTU pellet was important when it was real cold. Stove was always on, and I didn't need to touch it for the week except to dump a bag in every day. It gobbled up pellets.

The E2 is a much better heater in that the heat exchanger is far superior. With a t-stat it is much better on pellet use. However we have to manually swipe the burn pot a few times a day or risk having a missed ignition on restart. This has happened more than a couple times over the last few years. And we have had issues with the remote t-stat and have had a few missed starts which has resulted in a cold house. Pluses and minuses with both stoves. Gotta go turn down the t-stat so I can swipe pot before I go to work !

    Doggy

It has since been replaced with an Enerzone Eurostar and installed a wood stove (Englander 30-NC) a pellet furnace (Fahrenheit Endurance 50F) in my basement.

Been heating with pellets since 2009.

Welcome over to this side Eric VW . Interesting take on a portable setup for the off season.

If you check your manual, there's about 5 things to check. Did you go over those things yet?
