2008 was my start with my Napoleon. That stove needed near constant cleaning. Only thing that went on it was the igniter. My son is using it now and loves it. Now running the p68 with no regrets. It goes weeks without me even opening the door. So easy to clean when I do. Chimney is always fairly clean. Prior to that we burned wood for 15 yrs, then I got a furnace. Now do have a base board hot water gas furnace. My usage is really low. I only spend 60-80 dollars when they fill it up. Two families using that. One of those new 95% efficient systems. I wanted to go with a heat pump :deadhorse: but got outvoted. :heidi:

I doubt it , I know for a fact that during some recent re-modeling that the Mt Vernon was disconnected , but his Honey was politely asking :smoke: to hook it back up because 70* was a little chilly inside . Who do you think won that discussion  :rofl:

The year Harman had a supply shortfall, 2005. Ordered a P68 which I gave up waiting and bought a used Accentra in Dec 05. I was heating with a Fisher woodstove for 14 yrs. Decided to buy a used Fahrenheit 50F in 2013 for a better heat distribution and I'm still amazed on the heat comfort.

Left the subdivision world in 2013 and purchased a 130 year old farmhouse. Found a demo model Fahrenheit 50F and reduced oil furnace to backup source. Pellets are a winter hobby now.

Don't remember, could find out on my posts on "the other" place, but think was late 90's,basicly got paid to remove my austroflamm from a ski resort condo, ended up costing me less than 500 to get it home,BUT there was 2 years i did not burn, propane was way cheaper. But,i was also the firts person,up here,on the mountain,to put in propane, and do away with wood. Now we have so many big bucks people the lpg trucks come up every month?Blows my mind(well, whats left of it).:D

2014 for the 52I pellet stove my wife picked out. I put a barrel stove in the basement of my first house (all electric) in the late 70's. ducted set-up. ate wood like crazy! Vermont Castings Defiant in the next house in the basement rec room. that's still there - my ex got it in '96... along with the house!:banana::banana: good trade!
built another house had to put in a stupid fireplace for "ambiance" at the insistence of then girlfriend - some ambiance every time i lit it the furnace would start.... :makeitrain":makeitrain":makeitrain"quit burning it except for shoulder season, and replaced the girlfriend.... well, several times. :rootintootin::rootintootin:

2011 installed the Heatolator :woodsign: stove in the workshop out back - works great!

and as for the pellet stove insert - works great as well, no issues. and i know a very good source for excellent pellets!

Brought the Breckwell P24I Now 18, 1995. It was installed, Dec 8, 1995. Still have the card receipts for both and the stove.
Pellets were US Pellets were $ 110.00 a large green spread Eagle on them. I didn't think I would ever use the new Gene
Vac How quick that changed over the years. I still got the vac. Some times I can use that vac ever day with some of this CHIT
All of our stoves burn different, but bark and trash wood makes ash, any way you spell Chit.

Bought my Harman Invincible in the fall of 1996 and it's still in use today at my place in Maine. Replaced it here in Mass with my Harman P61A "daily driver" in 2010. Wouldn't change a thing except now I realize I've humped over 65 tons of pellets in and out of my basement in that time.....
