    Must be a PA thing. I do it like that also. Seem to be lacking the smoke out the neighborhood bit, I'll have to try harder.

    Agree, top down. Took a few attempts to do it correctly, now I'm hooked.

    These CSIA videos below it seem so easy, it took a some practice to perfect it. For me the two key points are a hot flame (wind resistance lighter) and very dry tinder pieces.
