I ride and I don't classify them as real bike riders. Real riders use there heads for something other than a battering ram.....

Just goes to show that even though you can afford one, doesn't mean you know how to ride one!
Can't believe some of the moments after the crashes...like when the elderly were hit and people didn't do anything to help...and the guy with the woman on the bike. She ended up sliding on the pavement with a face plant...he gets up and runs to the bike, not her!!!

    I still can't watch those.
When I was a kid I watched a biker slam into a tractor trailer's trailer and get beheaded.
I can still picture the helmet wobbling back and forth on the ground in the street not realizing what was in it at first.

    Ugggg, that sucks man.

I remember a motorcycle accident a friend and I came upon.

It was on a Highway 60 (4 lane) just south of Minnesota. We were about the third car to come up on it. A biker was passing a semi when a dog ran out in front of them, the biker hit the dog then the semi and went flying down the road. When we got there he was face down with the other people all standing about 4 or 5 feet from him. He was still breathing but was really in a bad way. None of us were trained EMT's so the best we could do was to call 911 and wait.

As my friend stopped and re-routed traffic (both lanes were shut down) the only thing I could think about doing was talking to him. Even from the untrained eye it was pretty clear he wasn't going to make it, but I knew the last thing I would want to see if I were lying there dying would the shoes of people standing arms reach from me.

I kneeled down next to him and put my hand on his back and tried to comfort him, talking to him all the while, encouraging him, praying for him. It was the best I could do.

He ended up passing away on the way to the hospital, but I hope he was able to hear some of what I said.

I still want to know why everyone in Russia has dash cams in their cars? Is it just so they can upload entertaining videos to youtube for us Americans to watch and laugh at?
