How do you respond to a FHC post?

I noticed when a lot of FHC people respond to a post, the text from the original post is not included in the reply, it is just the reply. How do you do that?

To reply to a specific post, tap the small print "reply" at the bottom right of that post.

 

Down at the bottom of the page there is a box, type your reply in there, and this is what you get.

Now if I poke the "Reply" button in MikeInMa 's post, I get the following ...

... and I can type more underneath. And then I can poke "Reply" in your original post ...

... and do it again!

OK, I know that, this is second reply...but how do you not have your post in my OK response?

 

Well, you can backspace over it, or just fill in a reply without hitting the little reply word. Then hit post reply

 

OK..I deleted your post text and am replying. Lets see what it looks like.

No need to delete anything. Just type in the open box.

 

Duh....I see now at the end of the string of conversations on this post there is a reply here.
