I consider welding a hobby, I learned to weld sheet with Flux core on my old jeep xj. Floors were toast. I cut shaped and welded it back together. .. wasnt pretty but it was solid.

I need to weld some sheet into the floors of my old truck. One day.

Maybe not. As long as it does not get worse I won't mess with it.

99% of the time its under a shed so wherever the water is coming from is not going to wet the floor...that is if I havent fixed the leak?

Wait there's a saw in that picture? Sorry got distracted there for a sec. That paint alone has to be good for at least .25 hp! Looks pretty cool!

I think your seeing part of the AustinPowers Femmebots. It was a white elepant party thing. I tried to ditch it for the next 3 years at the same party but all my friends said it looked at home in my garage.

Well, I hope it is loud enough to distract from the blue color! Maybe that will burn off and you can repaint in a tasteful black ...

it has no problem with any rpm, although the response time seems to be a little slower than the .5 seconds advertised.

i use a combo technique, using my ears and the mfgr's recommended max rpm. i usually tune it right to what is recommended, if i like how it sounds and saws, i leave it. Having a tach is a must for use with limited coil saws.

To make it pass EPA they do the band aid fix of slapping a cat in the muffler to burn up excess fuel instead of a redesign of the saw.

Thats why pulling the cat and a muffler modd helps these saws so much. They were never designed to have a cat in the muffler restricting it so much.
