House humidity

    I grew up with one of them humidifiers that had a rotating "mat" which would get run thru a trough/tub of water, with a fan blowing across it. Worked like a charm. In fact, once I was old enough to tote the bucket of water from the bathtub to the unit without spilling it, it was my regular chore to check and fill the thing. Wasn't a fan of that chore, but never had a bloody nose either. And my mom was a humidity notzi; she was on it like white on rice!


    edit: yes, I spelled "notzi" that way on purpose..... We don't need anything "mining"
    info that could be misrepresented, no?

    With those levels of humidity, I too think it is something else causing her symptoms.

    Time to check her meds and side effects? Allergy meds are notorious for drying out nasal tissues, no?

    Now for the humor...(I'm surprised no one else caught it) Tell your wife to come home and sleep in your house where the humidity is just fine; then she won't have to call you and tell you how her night was....:D
