I've given up on traveling, but might reconsider if I knew I could stay in a place like that. Nearly all the places I have stayed overnight at had nothing for a view. There is a camp area not to far from here that has small cabins for rent that have wood stoves. you buy and haul the wood. OK, but like most campgrounds, everything is too close together. Home, I am in the woods. Go camping and it it like being in a trailer park. I like a camp that has no finished areas. Just the basics.
Cool place. My wife and I have thought about bringing in some cash flow by renting the camp out from time to time. Bed and breakfast type thingy. Wood stove in the front room would be part of the attraction. Don't know if I want the extra duties of taking care of those things though. Maybe in the future when the first one of us retires.
There are still some motor cottages in NH that have fireplaces. I agree with Larry, some of these campgrounds "pack em" tight. It's not the getaway camping is suppossed to be
