  Hopefully it wasn't a thong! Thank you for not posting pics of that. What would the women say if they happened upon you like that?

What year is that truck? Did you buy it new? Working okay now?

You Massachusetts people are just jealous :)
Thankfully it was afternoon and there was no morning wood involved.

True story. The first time I brought my current girlfriend up to the hood to meet everyone we’re on the deck having a couple adult beverages. My father comes walking around the garage that separates the properties wearing nothing but boxer shorts :)
Must be something in the water up here. There comes a point in an old man’s life where it’s just acceptable to walk around in their underwear. LOL It’s not the first time for me either. I’ve been known to hop on the atv and go for a joyride in my skivvies :) It’s like you reach an age where I JUST DONT CARE!!!
A little surprised she stuck around after that day.

Trucks 2014. Bought the lifetime warranty. Not something I would normally do but it paid off this time.
I’m also at the age where even tho I’m capable of doing the work I don’t want to. Problem is the old Yankee attitude of never paying someone else to do what you can do yourself still exists.
I’m still debating on who’s going to fix it. Me or someone else. Recent history has taught me there’s no decent mechanics left in this area, including myself. Adds to the trouble.

Had to replace the transmission pan already because it rusted through. The oil pan needs to be replaced too, it’s ready to start leaking. Ridiculous.

I’ve had two packages of those on the atv so long the plastic is rotted. I’m surprised they’re not in my tires yet.
It’s easier to put a few cuts in the split with the chainsaw. Let the rope sink in and a granny knot.

LOL!! I'm at that point already where I don't give a chit! I tell everyone I'm old and cranky...its my turn dammit! :BrianK:   Walking inside the house in boxers is SOP for me.:emb: Im in my home and I'm gonna be comfortable. I was glad when her last kid moved out as it was sweatshorts and a T shirt then.
Needs the FHC logo on it somewhere. Mebbe Scotty will have these in the new swag shop.

Finally got the log arch operational. Replaced the switch, no help. Replaced the contactor, no help. Only thing left was the wiring harness. Luckily I had a brand new full wiring harness sitting in a box just waiting for this day to come.
So this morning a full harness swap. New battery connections. The lead car type that fit over the whole pole. Abandoned the small screw poles that come on deep cycles. Obviously there was a bad connection somewhere robbing power. Went all the way.
It’s a rats nest but it’s my rats nest :)

Moved a few white oak rounds. Working better than it has in a couple years. Nice to just hit the button and it does what you ask.
Even shaved the punk off the rounds. Dont think I’ve ever done that before. It was worth it this time.

It's nice when tools work the way you want them.

    Good job!

Glad you found the problem and fixed it. Nice day to be wooding for sure. Seems once the humidity comes it stays.

    Was mom collecting the noodles?

Nah no mice. Probably just some dirty connections. Most can’t be cleaned easily. Tough to clean a female electrical connection. They always have headaches :)

Those noodles are mine mister. MY NOODLES!! You know I like my splitter chaff. I’ve come up with a labor saver idea. Instead of picking it up I’m gonna rake (plow really) it into the low spots. THEN comes the important part. I’ll take the trailer to the local sawmill and fill it with sawdust. Spread that on top the chaff to make it all smooth and walkable. I figure within five years it’ll be grass. Or green weeds which I find acceptable too :)
