Started around 6 am. By 730 I was done. The sun and the dew burning off the grass makes it a jungle out there.
Went back out around 3.00 and finished up. A little shade goes a long way.
Anyone wanna guess how much wood that is in the first pic? I don’t have the answer so it’s not a competition lol

About 3:30 today I came out of the air conditioned shop to wash my truck. It took about 10 minutes for sweat to start flooding my eyes. I sure don’t enjoy these very humid days.

Right now the dew point is 69 degrees and it’s 81% relative humidity. :dennis: Suffice to say the central air is running.

Same issue I had this morning and quite often splitting in the heat. Sweat in the eyes till I’m blinded. It was hotter in the afternoon but better, less humid, less sun.

All of it??? :D God bless the shade.

Yeah it was the first Summery day. Good breeze where I was in Meriden. Doing siding so not too strenuous.

All of it yep lol, I wasnt specific. Just the stuff on the ground. More than a half less than full,,,,somewhere in there :)
Can you at least do the siding on the shady side?
First summery day for sure. I know you love these critters. Someone snapped this pic today not too far from my place. A baby but a fat baby.

Yikes on that snake. Keep em in your area please. Have yet to run into one this year.

Surprised you braved the full sun. The job I'm working faces East so I started in the shade and worked in full sun the last hour or so. Good breeze blows there so not bad. I had some work to finish on the roof and opted not to do it. Today yes before the T storms hopefully.

Hope you got to work earlier than I did. This morning I went to recover that short pen before the rain came. Got it back on but not entirely ties down before the rain came. Praying there’s no big wind with these storms. :)

It stayed on through the rain and I hung some weights this afternoon. Time will tell.

I was loading 2x6's at the lumberyard n a storm. Checked that Norway and not worth the effort in the rain. Looked as though someone had cut some too. I was working inside framing a ceiling. Rain stopped so was able to get some outside work done too. Didn't get windy that I noticed but the news did report outages and wind damage. Hope they stayed put.

Booo! You're not wrong, but, booo!
    :dennis:
Yes, he certainly blessed us with shade! I would have to hide inside the whole summer without it!

When I was roofing full time i'd try to sell jobs with lots of shade for the Summer. HUGE difference vs. full sun.

I have no idea how a smiley face at the end of that sentence is remotely appropriate.

I used to be in your camp. Maybe not quite as fond of the 90+ days but summer was awesome.
Then I had to wear a plastic hard hat all day. Literally cooked a few brain cells that way.
Then I got bit by a tick. Now I’m a vampire. Dark and cold is what I like.
Still like to get my moccasins full of sawdust sometimes. Just like you :)

You might be a wood hoarder if...

...your pool filter always has wood chips when you clean it.

Joe jo191145 lets have a GTG and invite Joe jrider. We can take notes from the shade! :)
