It's not really far out of my way. It's 10 minutes from where I work, then about the same commute time home. Only bad thing right now is the daylight is getting shorter and shorter.

    Yeah! Hate that.

Should be able to get a load tomorrow and hit it again sat/sun. Looking forward to the scales too.

Touching up two of the long loops tonight.

    #1 is getting down there.

Sorry, I just can’t get over the size of this sucker. :faint:

I tried as best I could to make a nice clean cut. Heckuva thing when you don’t have enough bar.

14 pieces per round. The guy who owns this farm has a 5k scale and said he’d weigh one for me. I’ll take measurements and do a guess the weight.

And loaded up. Pretty light load but I ran out of daylight.

Took my time and came up with 105. I’ll ask Mike what he told me the tree guys said, can’t remember.

Cut 2 rounds this evening. Got into some major rot. I think he decided to get this tree taken down at a good time.

All but these 3 pieces went into my truck.

Quick cordage calc said about 1.5 on the main log. I’m guessing 2 total. My inversion table is seeing regular use as is the ibuprofen bottle.

If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.

Couple blocks left behind. I’ll get these after work next week, and gather some noodles.
