Here’s one from Friday evening. Probably the simplest pizza cook ever: Home oven, 550F (preheat for an hour) two pizza stones, cooked on the bottom stone for 10 minutes.
I can fully guarantee there's no shortage of quality hardwood, beer, wood-fired food or fellowship here at the compound.....
Been awhile! Made up for it by making 8 pizzas Memorial Day weekend between two days for friends and family. Well, technically 7 pizzas and one calzone. Had a bad launch but had a recovery calzone.
Man those look good! We planned on making pizzas tonight but the dough didn't turn out. The consistency was off and a test pizza tasted awful. Your pics reminded me to try it again this weekend!
Give it another go Dok! I cold proof the dough for 48 hours, then let it sit a room temp a few hours before cooking.

Made a couple earlier this week during the heatwave. Having an outside oven was awesome vs firing up the regular ol oven inside the house.
Holy slap, that looks bleeping delicious. I love how you got char on the crust but the rest of the pie is medium/well-done. A lot of these high falootin "brick oven" joints make pies that are charred all the way across. There is a difference between char and burned.
Thank you! That means a lot! I’m impressed with how well it comes out with the home oven. Ironically, we’re making some tonight to have with raw oysters and oysters Rockerfeller for Christmas Eve.
Sitting by the fire while the rest of the house is sleeping. Our two adult sons, daughter in-law and girlfriend spent the night. Truck is sleeping in the garage. We had 15 people here last night for my homemade pizza. I hope you enjoy your day.
Pizza looks delicious! So I gotta ask... Is "Truck" the name of your truck? Does it usually sleep outside, or somewhere else besides the garage? Or does it get to sleep in there special cause it was Christmas Eve?
