I really like that design, but was rather shocked with the price, almost $10,000 seems kind of steep for what it is, and what powers it. I guess it is what it is, and honestly, I say that about everything. Darn fabricator in my coming out I guess! LOL

I am finally working out a design in my mind, but have one piece of equipment to build first that is of more importance (Rotary rock and root rake to clean up where the loggers worked this winter). In my design...not better mind you, just more in tune for my needs, will be a bolt on firewood chunker OVER my dumpbox. That way I can use my log loader to feed it instead of doing that by hand. That will also save me from having to build a conveyor, the chunks will drop right down into my dump box. When it is filled I will just drive it down to the house and dump it. The only disadvantage will be having to buy an engine to power it as on top of my dump trailer I cannot power it by PTO shaft. However, since a PTO shaft costs $200 anyway, the cost for a seperate engine will not be that bad with everything considered.
