I missed the beginning, But the story was called "stocking up on firewood". Still can't locate a link. But the story was basically what we were chatting about. Do you pay for wood/pellets and all the extra work or just fill the oil tank. Did a lil bit on price comparing too. I'll keep diggin!! "...decision to make" nope. no hard choice for me. stove on med-low, oil running a bit here and there. best of both worlds. let the oil take it to temp, let the pellet do the best it can to keep it there as long as it can.

I haven't checked oil prices here yet. I have 1/4 tank left (been 4 years since I had it filled). I may get 100 gallons delivered in a month or two for the shoulder season days if it gets to the 1.99 mark. Diesel is 2.59 a gallon here, and HHO is usually 30 cents less than that.
