Alaskans deserve 70 deg weather too. Poor folks just don't get as much of it as other parts of the country. Speaking of Alaskans, there are so many reality shows on the tube now in Alaska, what's up with that?
Dunno but most are hardly reality. Yesterday went by Wasilla lake and people were out in bathing suits swimming. The lake still had ice maybe a week ago. Haha! Forecast is showing it going back to normal in a few days. Normal being 50s.
Just keep in mind sunrise and sunset don't so much mean light and dark for us. Sunrise might be 5:39, but its 4:30 right now and plenty light enough to walk around outside without a flashlight (no street lights). It sucks because its really screwy for people like me that don't really live by clocks. The "work from dawn till dusk" nearly killed me last year. I was putting in 120+ hr weeks without even realizing it. And winter is a few hrs a grey overcast usually. I had my blood tested last winter for other things and my Vitamin D was 4. Normal is 50-60. Under 10 is "really bad".... Bone and muscle issues. They actually had me come in to give blood again because they doubted it was possible. My Dr said in 10 yrs she had never seen single digit levels! I had been taking vitamins everyday too.
